| Arborists to ensure that trees
in public parks and conservation areas are managed, maintained
and kept in a safe condition.
Also be known as arborists consultants, officers or employees
of arboricultural trees.
As a forester what is your main Task?
· Preparation of contract specifications and contract monitoring
· Sometimes the direction of manual and supervisory staff
· Responding to complaints about individual trees, for example
if they have become dangerous or are blocking the light
· Treat property issues or insurance claims, for example,
if a fallen tree has caused damage.
· Carry out detailed studies of the sites to record the number
of trees and their condition
· Decide if work such as pruning, trimming, planting or transplanting
should be done
· To ensure that planning applications comply with the law
and preservation orders are not broken
· Advice on the selection of new trees depending on soil conditions,
location and visual qualities
· Expenses of the estimate for the work to be carried out
