| Dog trainers and instructors
assistance dogs to help people with physical disabilities,
hearing or vision impairment to live independently.
You could work with the following types of assistance dogs:
· Dogs guide for blind and visually impaired - help owners
to use the stairs, crossing paths and avoid obstacles · Dogs
audience - to alert deaf people to sounds such as smoke alarms,
crying babies, telephones and alarm clocks
· Dogs disability assistance - to perform tasks such as pressing
the emergency buttons on the phones and opening and closing
doors
· Dogs seizure warning - to recognize the signs that its owner
is about to suffer a seizure.
Their work may include:
Work with volunteers who foster puppies and young dogs
· Helping dogs to adapt to the routine of basic training
· Training in a more advanced level in relation to the future
work of the dog
· Set the owners of dogs and dog owners and training together
• Provide aftercare and support to associations, dog owner.
