| As a customer service adviser
or cashier, who would be the first point of contact for customers
of a bank or building society.
You could work in retail branches serving customers face to
face, or contact centers that deal with customers by phone
or e-mail. Their work could include:
· Payments and withdrawals processing
· The management of cash and checks
· Respond to queries
· Sale of financial products
and services to customers
· Use of a computer system to update account information
• Make administrative tasks such as opening mail and sending
letters to customers
· Issuing of foreign currency
· Assist customers with loan and mortgage applications.
