Blacksmiths

to make both decorative and practical. Sometimes also restore
antique ironwork.
As a blacksmith who could specialize in any industrial work,
the manufacture of items such as special tools, fire escapes
or security grills, or artistic work, so that elements such
as decorative ironwork, railings, sculptures and furniture.
Their work may include:
· Use of traditional tools such as hand hammers and anvils
· Use of power tools, such as power hammers, drills, air chisels
and hydraulic presses
• Use of engineering machinery such as lathes, mills, grinders
and welding equipment
Work with various metals such as wrought iron, steel, brass,
bronze and copper
· Glow in the metal at the right temperature so it can be

· It connects to another piece of metal, if necessary, using
various methods of welding and riveting
· 'Finish' the metal for its intended use.
