| It is the work of a building
control officer, or a building control inspector to ensure
that buildings meet construction standards. Some of these
regulations include public health, fire safety, energy conservation
and accessibility of the building.
As a control officer, his work would take place during the
planning and construction phases of a construction project.
Projects can range in size from an extension of the house
through a small downtown redevelopment great.
Its main features include:
· Serve as liaison with architects, designers, builders and
engineers in planning proposals
· Ways to suggest to improve the cost-effectiveness of materials
and energy use
· Carry out regular inspections at each stage of the construction
