| Cabinet makers are skilled
artisans who make individually designed and produced pieces
of furniture such as chairs, tables, chests or cabinets and
storage. You can also restore antiques and furniture repair
damage.
As a cabinetmaker would work: · Obtain or create a drawing of the furniture design · The decision on the amount and type of materials required and the method of construction · Purchase the material from suppliers such as lumber yards · Industry Planning of timber, the use of power tools and hand · Fixing the parts together · Adding other fixed or movable parts such as brackets and hinges · Handles and locks installation · Polished mounted piece of furniture (this can be done by a French polisher).
