Care Home Advocate Job Descriptions

As an advocate for home care to help residents in care homes to understand and take control of decisions affecting their lives.
The most important part of his work as an advocate for home care would be to make residents' opinions and wishes are heard, and that those responsible for his care not to make assumptions about what is best for them.

You:
· Have the residents are treated fairly and with dignity
· Find and explain the relevant information
Helps residents to explore their options and make informed decisions
· Have the residents have access to their care plan
Helps residents to speak for themselves or speak on their behalf
· Help to negotiate with third
· Accompany residents to meetings to give moral support, or attend meetings on your behalf
· Serve as liaison with home care staff and other agencies.
