| Childminders offer community
services to improve health and wellbeing of families with
children up to eight years old.
To evaluate the development
of children and referral to other professionals when appropriate
• Demonstrate the importance of play in the development of children through the creation of individual activities play in customers' homes, or group sessions in the community · Helping to create groups to discuss ways to deal with specific problems such as behavior management, weaning and bowel control · Provide information and advice to families on topics such as vaccination of smoking, diet and stop · Advice on home safety, accident prevention, and playing it safe · Advice and support in providing breastfeeding · The information to health visitors or midwives in the community about any concerns, such as signs of abuse or neglect. |
