Manager Job Descriptions

| As credit manager,
your job is to protect your company's finances by controlling
the credit offered and managing the debts that customers owe.
This could be for a finance company, or any company that sells
goods or services.
Usually focusing on one of the two main areas:
· Credit Commercial - deal with business customers
· Credit for consumption - in charge of the credit taken by
members of the public.
In any of these areas, the key tasks may include:·
Customers Checking "credit rating with banks and credit
reference agencies
· The decision to offer credit
· Establishment of credit conditions and ensure that the customer
pays on time
· Manage a team of credit controllers or accounting technicians
· Negotiation of payment plans
· Stop the supply of goods to business customers from paying
late
· From a legal action to recover debts, if necessary
· Treatment of insolvency - meeting other creditors, the organization
of the property to recover, or arrange for a liquidator to
sell the assets of a company.
