Dance teachers train and develop students in all types of dance. They work with individuals and groups of all ages.

In primary schools, dance is usually taught by the classroom teacher. In secondary schools teachers tend to teach dance related topics, as well as dance, drama, for example, performing arts or physical education.
Outside the state school system, you can teach:
· In private dance schools
· In the universities or adult education
· As a master of self-employed, either working in places such as entertainment centers or community, or running a small dance school.
That could be involved in:
· Training future artists
· Teaching people to become teacher of dance
· Teaching of dance as a form of recreation.
