Dentists work with the public to promote oral health, prevent dental disease and treat problems affecting the mouth and teeth. Many dentists work as general practice dentists in the community, with private and NHS patients.
As a general practice dentist, their work could be to provide patients with a wide range of services including:
· Treatments dental, such as tooth whitening, fillings, extractions, fitting dentures and bridges
• Take X-rays and administering local anesthesia
· For patients to a dental hygienist, dental therapist or for certain treatments.
