| District Nurses care for people in a variety of non-hospital settings including patients' homes, GP surgeries and care homes. Its aim is to respond quickly to the needs of patients to help them avoid being admitted to the hospital. The support of a district nurse can also mean that some patients leave hospital and return home soon.
As a district nurse would assess
the health problems facing people who need your support, and
plan and manage their care. You can visit customers a number
of conditions on a daily basis, sometimes several times a
