| Education inspectors report
on the quality of education:
· Schools
· Centers of continuing education
· Adult and community learning such as local authority classes
at night
· Work-based learning and NVQs
· Training Teachers.
As an inspector who would work in a team with a lead inspector.
His work includes:
· Preparation for inspections of reading sessions prior to
inspection
· Observation of teaching sessions
· Talk with teachers and students
· Recording observations
· To contribute information and evidence for team meetings
· Production of detailed written reports
· Provide information to the provider of the school, university
or other.

· Organisational skills and the ability to work to
tight deadlines
· Observational and interviewing skills
· The ability to make objective, fair judgements based
on careful and accurate examination of evidence
· Excellent spoken and written communication skills
