Embalmer Job Descriptions

Embalmers preserve bodies from the moment of death until they can be buried or cremated.
As an embalmer, your work with the deceased include:
· Washing and disinfecting bodies to prevent damage and infection

· Remove liquids and gases from the body and replace them with injected preservatives
· Washing and fix your hair and apply cosmetics
· Use of plaster or wax to restore the appearance of the bodies after the injury.
Its functions also include:

· Work closely with funeral arrangers to ensure that the families wishes are granted
· Keep the mortuary clean and enforcing health and safety regulations
· Have the mortuary is fully equipped
· Ordering staples, such as chemicals
· Complete the necessary documentation required by law.
