Emergency Care Assistant Job Descriptions

An Emergency Care Assistant (ECA) drives an ambulance in emergency conditions and supports the work of ambulance technicians and paramedics qualified.
As the ECA, the day to day duties include:

· Use of advanced emergency driving skills to respond to medical emergencies
· Transportation of patients between hospitals and clinics for scheduled appointments and treatment
° safely transfer patients to and from ambulances, with appropriate equipment and manual handling skills
· Assist ambulance paramedics and technicians in accordance with emergency hospital admissions
· Responding to any other situation that target an emergency control center
· Helping to complete a delivery report, record of all patient information
· Make your vehicle is roadworthy and properly equipped and clean (with special attention to the prevention of infection) after each call.
