| An Emergency Care Assistant (ECA) drives
an ambulance in emergency conditions and supports the work
of ambulance technicians and paramedics qualified.
As the ECA, the day to day duties include:
· Use of advanced emergency driving skills to respond to medical
emergencies
· Transportation of patients between hospitals and clinics
for scheduled appointments and treatment
° safely transfer patients to and from ambulances, with appropriate
equipment and manual handling skills
· Assist ambulance paramedics and technicians in accordance
with emergency hospital admissions
· Responding to any other situation that target an emergency
control center
· Helping to complete a delivery report, record of all patient
information
· Make your vehicle is roadworthy and properly equipped and
clean (with special attention to the prevention of infection)
after each call.
