Engineering Construction Technician Job Descriptions

Engineering construction technicians or Technical construction engineering, design, construction and maintenance of buildings, processing plant and machinery in a wide range of industries. These include oil, gas and petrochemicals, power and water, transportation and construction.
His work as a technical engineering construction are divided into four key areas:
· Planning and design - using computer aided design (CAD) to develop plans with the dimensions and design of projects

· Manufacture and assembly - cutting and welding of pipes and ducts, and the placement of columns and beams of steel frame of a building
· Installation and maintenance - installation and maintenance of equipment in factories and industrial plants, for example, conveyors, control panels and piping, pumps and valves
· Inspection and testing - testing of equipment failures, testing newly installed systems to ensure it works properly.
