| Entertainment agents and managers, sometimes
known as talent agents, promote the careers and manage the
business of artists and other professionals in the entertainment
industry.
As an agent, which would be their role to ensure the best
job for their clients - the best rate. Entertainment managers
have a broader range of responsibilities and perform all aspects
of business from a customer, although the two functions can
be combined.
That could represent actors, singers, musicians,
television presenters, writers and artists
of the art such as imitations of voice-over artists. Clients
range from new acts of major stars (generally used by large
international agencies).
Their work may include:
To organize hearings and customer reservations
· Negotiate contracts and rates
· Organisation of tours and booking venues
· To help artists make career decisions, such as advice to
the actors who auditioned for roles
Advertising · Organize and promote
· Winning customers and looking for new talent
· Handling questions from the media, fan letters and requests
for personal appearances
· Treat with travel arrangements and work permits
· Records Keeping
· Maintain regular contact with customers.
