| As financial advisor to help
customers choose the financial products and services best
suited, such as investments, savings, pensions, mortgages
or insurance.
You could work in one of three ways - 'tied', 'multi-tied'
or independent:
· Tied - work for banks, building societies or insurance companies,
and only offer financial products, your own company ·
Multi-tied - dealing with a number of companies and sell only
products from companies
· Asesores independent financial (AMI) - which provides the
overall market advice.
Tasks typically involve:
· Set up meetings with clients
· Find out about the finances of current customers and future
plans
Investigate financial products
· Details to explain products to customers can make informed
decisions
· Meeting sales targets
· Negotiation with suppliers of financial products
· Keep a detailed record
· The production of financial reports
· Clients Maintain regularly updated about their investments
· Keep up to date with new products and changes in the law.
