around a pre-formed before pouring in the molten metal
· The resin injection in the sand and
then heating to form a hard shell (shell molding resin)
· Make a wax replica of the foundry, the application of heat
resistant coatings, and then melt the wax to leave the casting
(investment or lost wax casting)
· Put loose sand in a polystyrene standard, pour the molten
metal in it then burning the exposed polystyrene out of the
foundry
· Make molds heat-resistant metal (die casting)
· Silica gel with Bonding ceramic powders by heating to produce
high quality precision casting (Shaw Process).
