Funeral Director Job Descriptions

As a funeral director who would make arrangements for burials or cremations. Your day to day tasks typically include:
• Take data from relatives or friends of the deceased
· To prepare the transfer of the body to the place of rest before the funeral
· Meeting with family or friends to advise and arrange funeral details

· Organize the funeral date and time of the church, cemetery or crematory
· Organization of flowers, transport and obituaries and obituaries in the press
· Advice on legal requirements and help clients complete the paperwork
· Prepare the body for burial or cremation
· Visits to organize the resting place
· Treat with floral tributes and charitable donations
