| Homeopaths treat patients by stimulating the
healing powers of the body with natural remedies. Homeopathy
is based on the idea that "like cures like" - substances
that cause symptoms can, in very small quantities, is used to
cure or alleviate them. It can be used to treat conditions from
headaches, fever and stress to arthritis and eczema, and is
sometimes offered by doctors alongside conventional medicine.
As a homeopath, I would do with the patient as a whole, prescribing remedies based on their lifestyle and emotional problems and physical symptoms. Your job would consist of: · View to patients by referral from your GP or privately · Talk to the patient's symptoms and life in general · Choose a suitable homeopathic remedy · Preparation and distribution of water · Treating the customer during the visits, or explain how you can try · Keep detailed notes on patient · Advice on health and general lifestyle · In relation to other health professionals if necessary.
