As an officer of the housing policy must:
· Problems of housing research, identify best practices and recommend action

· Collect statistics that are relevant to housing, such as health, employment and population
· Represent housing services in corporate workgroups
· Collect and present data and information
· Meetings of the Presidency
Produce publications such as research reports, policy briefs and fact sheets
· Propose changes to be made as a result of government initiatives and new legislation
· Make presentations to groups both within the organization and externally.
