Electrician Job Descriptions

| Industrial Electricians play
a key role in the construction industry, engineering and manufacturing.
To install, inspect and test wiring systems and components
for all types of buildings and machinery.
His work usually focuses on one of four areas:
· Panel of construction - build control panels that operate
in a building lighting, heating, air conditioning and ventilation
Repair · and rewind - find and correct flaws in the machinery,
for example, replacing burned in an engine lift system
· Implementation - installation, calibration and maintenance
of manufacturing systems that measure how efficiently a production
line is running
· Maintenance - maintenance test equipment and electromechanical
manufacturing and construction, for example operating machinery,
heavy machinery on a construction site.
Key Skills
· Good practical skills to use a range of hand and
power tools
· The ability to follow technical drawings and instructions
· A methodical approach to work and an ability to make
accurate measurements
· A commitment to keep up to date with industry developments
· The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a
team
· Good communications skills
· Normal colour vision
· A thorough understanding of electrical safety rules
and regulations.
