Beauty Therapist Personal Statement
|I provide treatments to enhance the
physical appearance and sometimes, health of a client’s face and body.
As a beauty therapist I am mainly concerned with improving the client’s
appearance. I do this by covering up any blemishes and removing unwanted
hair. I offer treatments to boost mental well being too.
I am responsible of making clients feel good about them. This I do through the treatments that I offer to each client and also making them aware that if they look good, they will feel good from the inside too. I work in a spa where my clientele are mostly women but as it is the 21st century men are also conscious about their looks and they too are very fussy when it comes to their appearance.
I am fully trained in all aspects of beauty therapy, including massage and electrolysis. I am very good listener which makes my job easy because you do build up good relationship with your clients and get to know the ins and outs of their life. This is very important because you realise that you only offer treatment but also need to be very good when chatting with clients
The key to becoming a successful beauty therapist like me is having passion for this fantastic art form. I started with a little knowledge in this subject, but my hunger to develop myself further through training and work experience paid of a lot of dividends.
