Workforce Information Analyst Personal Statement
|
I worked at Brompton University Hospital for the
past ten years as a workforce information analyst. The job involves
working with workforce statistical data for both clinical and non-clinical
staff. My main function is to keep the human resources database
accurate because it affects the payroll sickness and annual leave
staff database.
When an employee joins the Hospital it is my responsibility to create
a new identity for them and make sure they are on the human resources
database system in order to help with the sickness, annual leave,
and payroll processes. I am responsible in creating and generating
reports for committee meetings, managers and clinical staff.
I worked with various speciality managers in relation to their data
requirements. I teach them to use specialist software in creating
ad hoc reports. This makes them self-sufficient and is able to become
more aware of how to generate their own reports. I attend training
to keep up to date with changes in technology and human resources
issues. My work involves working with administrative staff that
assists me in sending out the necessary paperwork to staff, managers,
clinical and non-clinical.
I also am responsible in uploading specialist Human Resources information
for National Health Service websites. This data is used to compare
and contrast different Nhs Trusts throughout the UK.
I believe I will be the best person for the role Senior Work Information
Analyst because I have the necessary skills and experience.
