Plan, direct, and coordinate
activities of designated project to ensure that aims, goals,
or objectives specified for project are accomplished in accordance
with prescribed priorities, time limitation, and funding conditions.
Review project proposal or plan and determine methods and
procedures for its accomplishment. Develop staffing plan and
establish work plan and schedules for each phase of project
in accordance with time limitations and funding.
Recruit or request assignment of personnel.
Confer with staff, designate responsibilities, and establish
scope of authority. Direct and coordinate activities of project
through delegated subordinates and establish budget control
system. Review project reports on status of each phase and
modify schedules as required. Prepare project status reports
for management. Confer with project personnel top provide
technical advice and to assist in solving problems.
