I am writing to you in application for an entry-level position
in your IT Department. I have just completed my studies
at Westminster University where I gained a BS in Computer
Science graduating with honours.
I gained a summer placement last year at Citrix Software,
where I supported the technical team. My duties included
the implementation of new software packages and assisted
with the upgrade of the network. I also supported the helpdesk
answering technical calls and making minor repairs to the
computer systems.
I am proficient in Java, HTML and C++, and am eager to be
given a full-time role where I can gain further knowledge
and experience.
I am highly motivated and enthusiastic, hardworking always
with excellent attention to detail. I am enclosing my resume
for your consideration and would appreciate it if we could
arrange a mutually convenient time to meet to discuss this
