Don't just e-mail your cv in. Most agencies post their jobs
online. If you are interested, make sure that you call in
regards to that specific posting. |
2. Set up an appointment to meet with the recruiter to talk about that specific position after you call. |
3. Don't just walk in if you are just interested in using the service not in regards to a specific posting. Make sure that you call to make an appointment, so that the recruiter has plenty of time to sit down and talk with you. |
4. When you go in for your appointment: 1. Make sure that you dress for success. 2. Bring a copy of your resume. 3. Be polite to all individuals in the office, you never know what they might tell the recruiter about how you treated them. 5. Send the recruiter and thank them for the time to sit down with you. 6. Call in every Monday so that they remember you, but not any more than that, otherwise it gets annoying. |
