| Every question during an interview is an opportunity
for you to promote yourself. Any question can be turned around
in order to allow you to get across all the information you
want the employer to know.
Many people become nervous when they think about answering questions in an interview environment, quite often it is because they are unsure of the types of questions they will be asked and what their answers should be Viewing an interview as an opportunity to show all your positive qualities to an employer, rather than a challenge where answers are either right or wrong, is the first step to a good interview technique. Be prepared
It may not be possible to know exactly which questions an interviewer is going to ask, however, it is possible to know what kind of information an employer needs to know about you before giving you the job. WHAT KIND OF A PERSON YOU ARE AT WORK? WHY YOU WANT TO WORK IN THE EMPLOYERS INDUSTRY? WHY YOU WAN TO WORK FOR THE EMPLOYER’S COMPANY? WHAT EXPERIENCE DO YOU HAVE? CAN YOU DO THE JOB THE EMPLOYER IS OFFERING? Interviewers may not use the same questions but they all want the same basic information. Preparing what you want to say in each of these areas will give you a much greater chance of promoting what you have to offer in clear and understandable way. Make you less nervous and prevent any rambling, which is something people do if they are struggling to find a relevant answer. Once you know the general points you want to cover you can then turn each question to your advantage. Targeting your answer towards your strengths and most positive points. Remember: The key to any answer in an interview is expanding your answers to include details and examples. Keep to one example per answer as a general rule, this will give you time to explain and prevent your answer running over time.
